(More customer reviews)The disc does a superb job of grating hard cheeses but small pieces do tend to get wedged under the lid which is annoying but still using this is a thousand times better than attempting to grate the cheese by hand, or directly in the processor bowl, especially a large portion.I grated about a pound of romano cheese within seconds.I thought cleaning it was going to be a nightmare but I just ran it under some very hot water to get the tiny specs of cheese out of the teeth.This is a worthwhile disc to add to your collection.
